Job descriptionPrepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements Analyse financial data and performance metrics to provide actionable insights Lead month-end and year-end close processes and assist in audits Manage payment processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, resolving variances Implement and monitor internal financial controls to ensure compliance Oversee and reconcile stock receipts, resolving discrepancies with suppliers Support inventory valuation processes in collaboration with procurement and supply chain Contribute to budgeting and forecasting with accurate financial insights Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial processes Process automation
Description / Synopsis :
A reputable pharmaceutical group is looking for a finance professional to join their team as a Senior Accountant. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions, compliance with accounting standards, and providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented finance professional with strong analytical skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum Requirements :
- BCom Hons degree in Accounting / Management Accounting
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in an accounting role
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Advanced Excel skills essential
- Power BI experience advantageous
- Good Time Management Skills
