Job descriptionPrepare and review monthly financial reports and management accounts for subsidiaries. Assist with annual budgets and rolling forecasts. Monitor financial performance, investigate variances and provide commentary. Maintain general ledger integrity and ensure accurate accounting records. Support year‑end audits and liaise with external auditors. Ensure compliance with tax regulations (VAT, PAYE, income tax). Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction. Maintain strong internal financial controls. Provide financial insights to support operational teams. Supervise and develop junior finance staff.
Role Overview
Finance Manager / Controller responsible for managing the financial operations of the company, including accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, budgeting, forecasting and financial process improvements.
Minimum Requirements
- CA(SA) qualification with at least 3 years’ post‑article experience.
- Proven experience managing financials for subsidiaries.
- Minimum of 3 years’ leadership experience managing a small team (3–4 people).
- Hands‑on payroll management experience.
