Assist the Installations Technician with installing cable for alarm systems, drilling and wiring detectors and the panel. Able to power‑up and walk‑test the system. The Assistant Technician will perform tasks independently, without the help of a technician present.

• PSIRA registered (Grade C)
• Proven ability to work under pressure and show attention to detail

Qualification & Experience

Main Purpose Of Job

To assist the Installations Technician with installing cabling of an alarm system, drilling, connecting detectors, the panel, and powering‑up and walk‑testing the system. A Technical Assistant at this level is suitably qualified and experienced to install the cabling of an alarm system as well as Intercom, CCTV & Access Control systems, do drilling himself, connect detectors and the alarm control panel, and also to power‑up and walk‑test the alarm system without the help of a technician present.
