Job description

Our Client, a leader in the Financial Services Industry (investments in the retirement space), is seeking to employ an experienced Wealth & Investment Admin Assistant, to their team based in Bellville, Cape Town.

The main objective of this role is to assist the Wealth Planners with any administration relating to the servicing of existing and prospective clients, with the primary focus on investments and retirement funds.

Requirements

  • Matric (Grade 12).
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in investment administration (advantageous).
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Deadline-driven and organized.
  • Afrikaans preferred.

Responsibilities, but not limited to

Support to Wealth Planner

  • Manage time effectively to meet turnaround times and deadlines.
  • Provide proactive administrative and operational support to ensure planner efficiency.
  • Maintain calendars, schedule meetings, and follow up on outstanding information.
  • Ensure accuracy and quality of all administrative work.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and enhance the client experience.
  • Act as first-line support for client queries and issues.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Product Administration

  • Possess a full understanding of investment product administration, including :
  • Living and Life Annuities.

  • Retirement and Preservation Funds.
  • Discretionary Investments.
  • Endowments.
  • Tax-Free Savings Investments.
  • New Business Administration

  • Prepare and review application forms, quotations, and compliance documentation.
  • Collect and verify supporting documents (FICA, bank details, medicals, etc.)
  • Submit new business applications and track progress.
  • Follow up on debit orders and claims.
  • Inform clients once policies or accounts are issued.
  • Send final signed compliance documents to clients.
  • Update and maintain CRM records accurately.
  • Client Maintenance

  • Provide regular client feedback and updates.
  • Ensure client information (compliance, transactional, and static data) is up to date in CRM and provider systems.
  • Schedule client meetings and manage logistics (venue, refreshments, etc.)
  • Capture CCM payments and maintain accurate records.
