What Youll Do
This is not a role where you sit on the sidelines. Reporting directly to the Financial Manager, youll take full ownership of core accounting functions, from reconciliations and cashbooks to VAT and payroll compliance. Youll be the one ensuring accuracy, keeping systems aligned, and producing the management accounts that leaders rely on to steer the business.
Key responsibilities include :
- Preparing daily reconciliations and payments
- Managing VAT submissions and handling SARS queries
- Keeping payroll compliant and accurate
- Maintaining general ledger and accounting systems integrity
- Producing monthly management accounts and performance reports
- Supporting the finance team during audits
- Contributing to policies, procedures, and continuous improvement
What You Bring
A B.Com. in Accounting (or equivalent)Previous experience in a financial accounting roleStrong reconciliation and reporting skillsSolid knowledge of Excel and exposure to Sage (or similar systems)A structured, detail-oriented approach with a solutions mindsetWho You Are
