Responsibilities

As Head of Broker Development, you will be at the helm of our expansion strategy, tasked with recruiting and onboarding Broker Partners nationwide, accelerating growth across key business units, and leading a team of sales executives committed to excellence. Your leadership will empower their brokerage network, harnessing deep industry expertise and leveraging strong relationships for sustainable success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit, onboard, and nurture Broker Partners across South Africa’s diverse markets.
  • Drive strategic growth in existing business units, enhancing revenue and market presence.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a results-oriented team of new business sales executives.
  • Collaborate closely with compliance, underwriting, and operational teams to ensure seamless partnership experiences.
  • Foster an entrepreneurial and hands-on culture that encourages innovation and accountability.
  • Develop and execute performance metrics and growth targets aligned with company objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Commerce, Business Management, Marketing, Financial Services, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in sales leadership, brokerage growth, or insurance business development.
  • Established and respected network within the short-term insurance industry.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills with an ability to inspire and develop talent.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a hands-on approach to driving business results and overcoming challenges.
