As the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the guesthouse operates seamlessly while maintaining the highest standards of excellence.Responsibilities : Oversee the day-to-day operations of the guesthouse, ensuring all aspects run smoothly and efficiently.Lead, manage, and motivate the staff to deliver exceptional guest service and uphold the brand's reputation.Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints, resolving issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.Implement and maintain standard operating procedures to ensure consistent service delivery.Monitor and manage guesthouse bookings, rates, and occupancy levels to optimize revenue.Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to maintain the property in excellent condition.Manage budgets, expenses, and financial reporting to ensure profitability and cost-effectiveness.Implement marketing and promotional strategies to attract new guests and retain repeat business.Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for guests and staff.Conduct regular performance evaluations for staff and provide training and development opportunities.Requirements : Previous experience as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager in a similar luxury guesthouse or boutique hotel setting.Proven track record of successful leadership and management within the hospitality industry.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks effectively.Knowledge of reservation systems, hotel management software, and financial reporting tools.A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and exceeding expectations.Familiarity with the Constantia area and an understanding of the local market is a plus.Must be available to start ASAP.Remuneration : The salary for this position is in the range of R20,000 to R25,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.If you believe you have the skills and experience to lead our luxury guesthouse in Constantia to new heights, we invite you to apply for the position of General Manager.
