Job Description
The Front Desk Co-Ordinator is the first point of contact for clients and plays a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day salon operations. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. The Front Desk Co-ordinator manages bookings, client enquiries, and administrative duties while supporting the salon team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Welcome clients warmly, creating a professional and friendly first impression.
- Manage appointment bookings, confirmations, and cancellations using the salon’s scheduling system.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and walk-in enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Process payments, maintain accurate till records, and manage daily cash-up procedures.
- Ensure the front desk and reception area are tidy, organised, and stocked with promotional materials.
- Support marketing initiatives such as promoting treatments, products, and salon specials.
- Assist with stock control, including product sales and retail inventory management.
- Provide administrative support to salon management, including staff scheduling and reporting when required.
- Address client complaints or concerns professionally, escalating issues to management when needed.
- Build strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Requirements
Previous experience in a reception, administrative, or front-of-house role (beauty, spa, or hospitality industry advantageous).Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.Computer literacy (appointment booking systems, MS Office, or similar software).Professional, well-groomed appearance in line with salon standards.Passion for customer service and the beauty industry.Requirements
