Job Title : Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) Manufacturing Sector

Location : Pretoria Gauteng

Employment Type : Full-time On-site

About the Company

A leading manufacturing business in the sheet metal industry is looking for a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) to join their finance team. This is a dynamic and hands-on role suited to a qualified finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to play a key role in driving operational and financial excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Full financial management including preparation of monthly management accounts and financial statements.
  • Oversee budgeting forecasting and cash flow management.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS tax and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide strategic input and financial insights to support management decision-making.
  • Monitor costings stock and project profitability within the manufacturing environment.
  • Manage audits and liaise with external auditors banks and other stakeholders.
  • Implement and enhance internal controls systems and processes.
  • Lead and mentor junior finance staff.

Requirements

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) newly qualified or up to 3 years post-articles experience.
  • Previous exposure to the manufacturing or industrial sector will be highly advantageous.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS Tax Compliance).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of ERP systems beneficial.
  • Analytical detail-oriented and solutions-driven.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with both finance and operations teams.
