Vehicle Stripper and Vehicle Assembler

Main Job Functions:

The Vehicle Assembler/Stripper is responsible for both assembling and dismantling vehicles in accordance with technical specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. This dual-role position involves installing mechanical, electrical, and body components during the assembly process, as well as efficiently stripping vehicles of reusable parts for repair, resale, or recycling. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced automotive environment. The successful candidate will contribute to both the production and salvage operations, ensuring optimal use of parts and materials while maintaining a safe and organized workspace.

Responsibilities:

• Disassemble vehicles to prepare for repair and restoration.
• Remove damaged parts, such as bumpers, fenders, and doors.
• Label and store parts for reassembly.
• Use hand tools and power tools to strip vehicles efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines.
• Assemble vehicle components, such as engines, transmissions, and doors.
• Fit and secure parts using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
• Inspect assembled parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Perform basic maintenance on assembly machinery and equipment.
• Follow assembly diagrams and specifications.
