Overview

We are seeking an exceptional SEO Content Writer with a flair for producing in-depth, high-quality WordPress blog articles that are not only SEO optimized but also rank well on Google. Specializing in the outsourcing and venture capital sectors, this role demands a candidate who brings a wealth of knowledge on these topics and the ability to write content that embodies Google's E-E-A-T (Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) principles. The successful candidate will master every aspect of SEO optimization for articles, utilizing tools like Ahrefs to ensure content not only meets but exceeds industry standards. This is a remote, work-from-home position in South Africa.

Base pay range

$9.00 / hr - $9.60 / hr

Salary : ZAR 30000 Monthly

Key Responsibilities

  • Expert-Level Blog Writing : Craft in-depth, authoritative blog articles focused on the outsourcing and venture capital industries. Content should engage readers and provide deep insights, analysis, and information that demonstrates subject-matter expertise.
  • SEO Mastery : Implement advanced SEO strategies to help articles achieve high Google rankings, including keyword research, meta tag and description optimization, and strategic linking.
  • Utilization of Ahrefs : Use Ahrefs for keyword research and competitive analysis to guide content strategy and address gaps in the competitive landscape.
  • Demonstration of E-E-A-T : Produce well-researched, factually accurate content that reflects the latest industry trends and builds trust with the audience.
  • Content Strategy Development : Collaborate with the marketing team to develop a content calendar aligned with business goals, focusing on topics in outsourcing and venture capital.
  • Performance Monitoring : Track and analyze published content performance and adjust SEO strategies accordingly.

Job Requirements

  • Proven Expertise : A strong portfolio of published articles that rank highly on Google in outsourcing and venture capital domains, demonstrating adherence to Google's E-E-A-T guidelines.
  • Experience with SurferSEO is required; experience with Outranking.io is a plus.
  • SEO Proficiency : In-depth knowledge of SEO practices and hands-on experience with tools like Ahrefs for keyword research, site audits, and content optimization.
  • Industry Knowledge : Solid understanding of outsourcing and venture capital, with the ability to translate complex concepts into accessible content.
  • Strategic Thinking : Ability to develop and execute a content strategy to enhance brand visibility, engagement, and authority.
  • Analytical Skills : Capability to analyze content performance metrics and optimize future content.
  • Educational Background : Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or related field; preference for candidates with SEO / content marketing certifications.
  • Exceptional Writing Skills : Strong writing, editing, and proofreading abilities with attention to detail.
  • Strong Computer / Internet connection : Ability to contribute to influential brands through SEO-optimized content.
