Credit Risk Senior Consultant / Assistant Manager

About the Role

This is a dynamic opportunity for a Senior Consultant or Assistant Manager to play a pivotal role within a specialist Credit Risk team. You will collaborate with experienced actuaries quantitative analysts statisticians and risk experts to deliver cutting-edge solutions to banks corporates and institutions across diverse sectors.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and calibrate credit risk models including PD LGD and EAD
  • Validate and monitor IFRS 9 impairment and regulatory models
  • Deliver portfolio credit analytics benchmarking and peer analysis
  • Create scorecards behavioural pricing frameworks and risk strategy models
  • Contribute to audit support regulatory compliance and advisory engagements
  • Present findings and solutions to clients in well-structured reports
  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to a high-performing team culture

What You Need

  • Undergraduate degree in Statistics Mathematics Financial Engineering Actuarial Science Economics Engineering or a related field
  • 35 years of relevant experience in credit risk modelling or financial services consulting
  • Strong understanding of the credit lifecycle model development processes and IFRS 9 and Basel regulations
  • Coding proficiency in SAS R or Python (SAS Enterprise Guide an advantage)
  • Proficient in MS Excel Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong attention to detail problem-solving mindset and business acumen
