Role Purpose / Business Unit :
Drive revenue and customer growth through Vodacom’s Products and Services across unbranded channels within a geographical area. Manage relationships with trade and channel partners, internal teams, and suppliers.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership :
- Manage unbranded channel stores within a geographical location.
- Handle first-line escalations from trade partners.
- Manage field marketing agency operations, ensuring compliance and excellence.
- Achieve sales and customer service targets aligned with regional strategies.
- Maintain stakeholder relationships across various trade partners.
- Identify partnerships to enhance sales and brand awareness.
- Implement distribution strategies within unbranded channels.
Key Responsibilities :
Implement the Unbranded Channel strategy to maximize sales and exposure.Focus on channels including national chains, wholesalers, informal traders, and street vendors.Build relationships with informal traders and spaza operators to understand consumer trends.Ensure successful rollout of new products and services.Monitor, analyze, and report on activities monthly, identifying areas for improvement.Create a store visit and partnership meeting schedule.Manage KPIs such as revenue, base, market share, and usage.Manage relationships with trade partners to drive acquisition, retention, and customer experience.Identify opportunities for profitability and coordinate promotional activities.Drive growth in gross adds and VABS efficiencies.Recruit new business partners to increase distribution coverage.Implement recovery plans for underperforming areas.Manage third-party relationships and develop sales strategies.Monitor competitor activities and develop response plans.Transfer knowledge and execute campaigns and deals.Provide insights to improve customer satisfaction and employee engagement scores.Implement people transformation initiatives in third-party operations.Address regional customer issues and feedback.Candidate Requirements :
Qualifications & Experience :
3-5 years relevant experience (essential).Experience in small business development, marketing, or sales.Experience in retail or business environments, project implementation, and stakeholder management (advantageous).Telecommunications industry experience (advantageous).Driver’s License EBO (essential).Own vehicle (essential).Core Competencies :
