Job descriptionProduction : Plant, schedule irrigation, apply fertilizer, pest, plague and weed control, prune, harvest, monitoring, all manipulations Personnel and administration : Labor planning and management, recordkeeping, plan transport and accommodation, maintenance (equipment / orchards / general) Financial : Cost control by focusing on productivity
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Applicants should be post-matric with a relevant tertiary qualification in agriculture, with at least 3 years experience in the cultivation of citrus and / or avocados
- Knowledge of modern production practices
- Specific knowledge / experience in irrigation practices will be to your advantage
- Good leadership and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)
