- Relevant Tertiary qualification, Supply Chain and Logistics Management Diploma / Degree
Experience
Minimum of 5 years’ experience within the FMCG IndustryManagement of small fleet of vehiclesExperience of storage of chemicals and understanding the associated risksExperience on Cargowise Warehouse Management systemInventory Management
Ensure that all clients are on boarded onto Cargowise 1 Warehouse Management SystemEnsure that automated stock on hand reports is set up for clientsEnsure that the Cargowise system is effectively used for client’s stock takesEnsure weekly plan accounts for cycle counts for entire production rangeEnsure each client account is subjected toa monthly physical stock count comparing the physical stock on floor to Cargowise stock at hand in line with SLA requirementsEnsure that cycle counts and stock takes results are submitted to client in line SLA requirementsOperations
Chep recons ensure weekly CHEP reconciliations are completed and documentedMaterial Handling equipment ensures that all MHE checklist are reviewed daily and that all deviations and repairs are attended toClaims ensure that all claims or potential claims are being logged and investigatedWarehouse lay0ut and optimization managing warehouse space to maximise storage capacity and streamline product movementQuality control implementing quality checks to ensure product integrity throughout the warehouse processCompliance management ensure adherence to safety and compony policies within the warehouseClient Interaction
Ensure all clients complaints are being with timeouslySubmit a monthly report to general Manager, detailed complaints receivedAttend SLA meetings with clients where required to do soPeople Management
Leading and managing warehouse staff, assigning task and ensuring proper training to maintain operational efficienciesContact labour managementFinance
Ensure that all operational billing activities are accounted for monthlyReview monthly billing schedulesCost control measure to be put in placeManagement Reports
The monthly management reports to be done – CHEP recon, EC scorecard, Stock loss reports, Operational Report, OTP Progress Report, Management review pack
