REQUIREMENTS :

National Senior Certificate plus a relevant Honours Degree (NQF Level 8) in Natural Sciences or a related qualification.

No experience required as per OSD requirements; however, 1–2 years of relevant experience will be an added advantage.

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes :

Sound knowledge of the National Environmental Management Act (NEMA) and all subsidiary Acts.

Understanding of the Natural Scientific Professions Act and the Public Service Act.

Familiarity with the Public Service Regulations.

Computer literacy and strong administrative skills.

Good writing and communication skills.

A valid driver’s licence is required.

DUTIES :

Provide environmental enforcement services in line with relevant legislation and departmental policy.
