Responsibilities :
- Assist with electrical automation design and maintenance tasks.
- Installing and performing diagnostic tests on electrical systems.
- Developing and implementing electrical maintenance plans to prevent costly equipment breakdowns.
- Troubleshooting electrical malfunctions and breakdowns, as well as performing repairs.
- Documenting processes and maintaining electrical service records.
- Monitoring the availability of parts and replenishing supplies.
- Optimizing electrical efficiency by adjusting machinery and equipment settings.
- Training co-workers on automation systems within the plant
Requirements :
Electrical background with relevant electrical NQF courses is highly desirableTrade Test / N6 / T3 / S4 diploma or equivalent in an Engineering fieldStrong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.Comfortable working at heights and following strict safety protocols.Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.Willingness to work weekends and long hours when necessary.Computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook).Strong knowledge of automation and process control systems.Experience with :Electrical Control Panel building, PLC wiring, and Instrumentation wiring
