Job Description
To bridge the gap between product design and scalable manufacturing. Play a pivotal part in transforming new product designs into efficient high-quality production systems. Ensure manufacturability improve production processes and collaborate cross-functionally to bring innovative products to life at scale.
Required outputs : functional
- Partner with R&D and design teams to ensure product designs are optimized for manufacturability cost-effectiveness and efficient assembly.
- Lead the industrialization of new products from prototyping through to production readiness and release.
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes technologies and define production equipment requirements.
- Verify and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) in SAP against Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs).
- Perform time studies process validations to set world-class manufacturing standards.
- Identify recommend and implement process improvements using lean manufacturing tools and ensure competitive product costing; improved efficiencies including determining the EOQs (Economic Order Quantities)
- Facilitate the development of assembly instructions testing procedures process flows PFMEAs and control plans in conjunction with relevant stakeholders.
- Oversee the industrialization of test equipment and collaborate on test system design and validation.
Support root cause analysis and problem-solving activities (e.g. 8D A3) to improve quality and reduce waste.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors degree in Electronics Mechanical Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering (or a related field).35 years of experience in a similar role ideally in manufacturing transfer or new product introduction (NPI) environments.Proven experience with process validation techniques such as PPAP and PFMEA.Hands-on experience with quality and lean tools (PFMEA SPC 8D A3 Kaizen).Experience working in cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams.Strong knowledge of manufacturing principles materials and process technologies
