The Opportunity
Joining Electrum as our in-house Graphic Designer you'll shape our brand message, directly contributing to sales, marketing, and recruitment in the enterprise B2B payments landscape. Working independently in a fast-paced marketing environment, you'll manage projects from concept to completion, producing compelling, relatable, and consistent designs. The role
The purpose of this role is to effectively communicate Electrum’s brand message and support sales, marketing, and recruitment objectives targeted at our enterprise B2B audiences. As the designated in-house Graphic Designer, you will deliver high-quality digital and print materials that engage our target audiences, enhance brand identity, and drive business growth. Leveraging your experience and insights, you will help evolve the brand, create visuals that attract top talent, and empower the sales team to achieve revenue goals. Operating independently within a fast-paced marketing environment, you will manage your projects from concept to completion, producing designs that are visually compelling, relatable, and consistent. Requirements
Brand Development & Visual Storytelling
- Develop Electrum's brand using design thinking, user insight, and marketing.
- Create impactful visuals for Electrum's brand stories.
- Help maintain brand consistency via templates and accessible assets.
- Design unique print and digital assets aligned with the brand.
- Stay updated on design trends, especially for B2B and enterprise software.
Design Production & Execution
Design visual assets (70% digital, 30% print) for various platforms including websites, social media, marketing, and internal communications.Create mock-ups and optimise designs using Figma, Illustrator, and other design software.Web Design & Development
Create wireframes and visual page layouts adhering to brand and UX guidelines.Design and build responsive web pages with Figma and Webflow.Collaborate with web teams to implement and troubleshoot Webflow updates, ensuring seamless web experiences.Meet deadlines, maintain quality, and optimise web design for performance.Project & Process Management
Self-manage design projects from brief to delivery, collaborating cross-functionally.Prioritise multiple projects, including workflow.Lead stakeholder feedback sessions.Oversee end-to-end execution (design, printing, installation, digital deployment).Source and manage external vendors / freelancers.Collaborate with various teams to align creative output with business and technical standards.You will need to have :
Degree or equivalent NQF level 6 qualification in Graphic Design or similar.Post-graduate degree in marketing is a strong advantage.3 to 6 years of professional graphic design experience.Proven experience in a B2B environment, preferably within enterprise software.Experience handling both digital and print design projects independently.Experience in a marketing team or agency setting is advantageous.Expert proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Proficient in Figma and Canva.Knowledge of design libraries, style guides, and component systems.Competent use of G-Suite and MS Office, with advanced expertise in Slides and PowerPoint.Increase your chances :
