We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Specialist with a Level I and Level II Welding Inspection Qualification to join our Fluid Control Quality team. These roles are critical in ensuring that all products, processes, and operations meet the Oil & Gas stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum NQF Level 4 - 5 Grade 12+ / Higher certificate essential
- National Diploma / B.Tech in Quality Control, Engineering, or technical related field essential
- Level I and Level II Welding Inspection Qualification essential
- At least 5 years’ experience in Welding Field
- NDT Qualifications an advantage
- Advanced proficiency with precision measuring equipment and inspection techniques
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent report writing and documentation skills
- Computer experience - Excel, Word, Outlook
- SAP or similar ERP system experience (advantageous)
Duties and Responsibilities
Participate and monitor all inspections at Fabricators.Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards.Document and compile all requirements for Project Datapacks.Lease with Sales, project owners, and monitor progress of projects. Organise meetings for First off, interim and Final Inspections.Compile QCP’s according to customer requirements and Monitor inspections according to QCP hold points.Sign off on welds as per projects requirements at Fabricators.Control and Investigate all non-conformances, returned material, internal non-conformances, and customer complaints.Monitor and maintain all non-conformances of the sub-contractors.Conduct Risk Assessments to ensure all aspects are monitored and maintained.Ensure customer requirements regarding Projects and Contracts are defined and communicated with Sales, Quality and Management.Ensure Training and Safety of people is adhered to.Ensure compliance to SANS permits and ISO 9001 control measures internally and externally with Sub-contracts.Analyse quality data and prepare detailed inspection reports.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.#J-18808-Ljbffr
