Deputy Business Unit Leader : Finance

Job Overview

To develop and implement strategies and plans for the strategic business partnering, security, and facilities functions in the company. Adoption of appropriate governance practices in the organisation. To be responsible for effective co-ordination, management, and quality of work of the Finance Business Unit in the company. The Deputy Business Unit Leader (DBUL) will advise the company through the Business Unit Leader.

Duties & Responsibilities

STRATEGY FUNCTION

• Contributes to the formulation and implement organizational strategic initiatives.
• Develop the BU BSC and direct the implementation of the BU operational strategies and plans.
• Management (planning, organising, leading, and controlling) of financial operations within the company.
• Advise Business Unit Leader - Finance and the company on strategic issues pertaining to Finance.
• Oversee Ad hoc financial projects as determined by the company.

Desired Experience & Qualification

This position requires a minimum qualification of CA (SA). Minimum 10 years relevant post qualification experience with at least 4 years’ experience operating at a senior manager level. At least 5 years’ experience in the finance field.
