Manager : Investment Operations

Purpose of the position

The Manager of Investment Operations is accountable for the end-to-end oversight, governance, and effective execution of core investment operations processes, including unlisted trade processing and valuations, listed and money market trade support, NAV oversight, and project delivery. The role ensures a strong environment, accuracy, and disciplined risk management across the full investment lifecycle. This position carries direct responsibility for multiple operational functions, people leadership and capability development, and active engagement in key governance committees and strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities of the position

1. Oversight of Unlisted Trade Processing & Valuations

o Responsible for end-to-end oversight of unlisted investment operations, including :

• o Governance and review of unlisted trade processing and deal administration;
• o Oversight of cashflows, rollovers, rate resets, and instrument setup;
• o Oversight of trade settlement, income processing, and query resolution;
• o Review and governance of daily, monthly, and periodic valuation processes;
• o Oversight of collateral margin management;

o Close engagement with Investment Teams, Finance, Risk, IT, and external parties to ensure robust execution and control.

2. Trade Support Oversight (Listed & Money Market)

o Acting as escalation point for complex trade-related issues

3. NAV Oversight

o Ensuring strong controls, documentation, and governance over NAV processes.

4. Committee Engagement

o Ensuring appropriate documentation, escalation, and follow-through on committee outcomes.

5. Project and Change Engagement

o Ensuring process ownership, documentation, and sustainable implementation of enhancements.
