Our client is one of the leading manufacturing company providing high-quality packaging solutions for various industries. They are currently seeking a qualified Millwright & Process Technicians to join their injection moulding team and play a key role in maintaining and optimizing their machinery.
Key Responsibilities : -
- Conduct and coordinate all maintenance activities on injection moulding, preform machines and associated equipment.
- Perform mechanical troubleshooting and repair to minimize downtime during breakdowns.
- Develop and follow preventive maintenance schedules as per supplier recommendations.
- Build and manage an inventory of machine spares, ensuring availability when required.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records in compliance with ISO 9001 Quality System standards.
- Monitor and control machine spares according to required standards. - Order necessary equipment, tools, and spare parts for maintenance activities.
- Advise on and implement technical improvements that are cost-effective and enhance machine performance.
- Ensure all machines are regularly serviced, cleaned, and maintained for optimal operation.
- Develop and follow maintenance schedules and programs for each preform machine in line with supplier recommendations.
- Monitor and control machine spares to ensure minimum downtime.
- Respond promptly to mechanical breakdowns on preform machines, both on-site and off-site if needed.
- Order necessary equipment, tools, and spare parts for preform machine maintenance.
- Attend relevant meetings and provide technical input on machine performance and improvements.
- Be available for after - hours call-outs as required to support continuous production.
Minimum Requirements :
Must have Millwright trade qualification.at least 3 years experience in injection moulding or plastic manufacturing is highly advantageous.Must have worked on preform machines such as PPS, xForm, Engel, HuskyStrong mechanical and troubleshooting skills with experience handling maintenance and breakdowns.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.Flexibility to work shifts if required.Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.Experience with breakdowns, maintenance schedules, and preventive maintenance.
