Overview

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Manager to lead our inhouse maintenance projects and manage external contractors. You will oversee the upkeep, repair and improvement of our portfolio of rental properties. The ideal candidate is technically and administratively proficient, client and service orientated and a strong team player.

Key responsibilities

Manage maintenance projects
Lead daily maintenance activities across the portfolio
Lead and supervise contractors
Troubleshoot and diagnose maintenance issues
Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
Collaborate with other departments
Liaise with senior management, suppliers and stakeholders

Qualifications and Skills

Proven experience in maintenance management, team leadership and people management skills

Excellent planning and organisational skills

Experience with computerised maintenance management systems

Familiarity with Payprop and Red Rabbit management systems

Proven experience in teamwork

Conditions

Location : Office based with regular local travel

Own reliable transport, laptop and cellphone

Working hours : Monday to Friday, 08h00 – 17h00, occasional out-of-hours on call work

3 months’ probation, thereafter permanent.
