Job descriptionManaging a team within the Distribution Centre Monitor and measure the quality of all work performed by the team Managing all administrative tasks link to the inventory department. (All reports) Direct work of employees to ensure that accuracy, speed, cost and compliance targets within the Distribution Centre are achieved Maintain department lead-time Workforce planning. Attend departmental meetings Productivity reporting (KPIs and lead time) Validate all carton adjustments Improving processes within the department Ensure compliance with Health and Safety, BOP Must be a team player Conduct hearings and enquiries Assist with departmental HR issues Investigate and report all shorts and overs within 48hrs Grade 12 (Matric), post-matric qualification in logistics & warehouse management / supply chain management / retail business management advantageous Experience in Distribution Centre and / or warehousing A minimum of 2 years supervisory / team-lead experience Inventory management / supervisory experience is advantageous Transportation / Logistics jobs
