Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve profit budgets and meet or exceed annual sales targets.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in target markets.
  • Negotiate and close trade deals using professional sales techniques.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure high service levels.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations.
  • Manage trade risks logistics and financial controls.
  • Anticipate market demands to optimize sales timing and product selection.

Qualifications

  • Matric and a Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Finance or related field.
  • Solid FMCG export and business development experience; exposure to Indian Ocean Island markets advantageous.
  • Strong numerical and financial acumen with knowledge of INCO terms.
  • Experience in international networking and trade shows.
  • Valid passport and drivers license; willingness to travel internationally.
