Job descriptionTo perform mechanical engineering inspections, repairs and maintenance work on equipment, assets and other infrastructure to minimise and prevent failures / breakdowns on production operations. Repairs (40%) Maintenance (15%) Training (10%) Compliance (10%) Cost Control (10%) Customer Service (10%)
Job Requirements :
- Minimum Grade 12 Certificate (NQF 4)
- Trade Test : Fitter / Fitter and Turner (NQF 5)
- Minimum 3 years technical and mechanical maintenance experience as a Maintenance Fitter / Fitter and Turner in a manufacturing environment
- Computer Literacy (Basic MS Office; and SAP, ERP Systems and other job-specific software systems)
- Knowledge of relevant maintenance practices / designs / methodologies / SOPs
- Housekeeping and safety principles
