INTERESTED IN GAINING WORK BASED EXPERIENCE IN THE IT INDUSTRY?

QUALIFIED IN ANYTHING IT-RELATED?

If you're an efficient fast learner, with IT certification / accreditation / experience and able to dedicate 6 months to gain valuable training and work experience, and in return learn to provide excellent dedicated service and support for the company's IT technical support department which provides support and services to the Industrial IT industry.

Who can Apply?

  • College graduates / students currently finishing studying IT or have certified in CompTIA A+ or N+ or CCNA or similar.
  • Must live within a 5km radius of Bromhof.

Duties Include (training provided, experience advantageous)

  • Assemble PCs, set up, diagnose, and repair hardware and software components.
  • Test & repair faulty IT equipment (Switches, Gateways, Routers, PCs etc).
  • Basic network and IT support assistance
  • Install and maintain software.
  • Troubleshooting.
  • Compose basic network and IT reports.
  • Compose timeous and detailed technical notes and fault reports.
  • Various chores such as cleaning / maintenance of workspace / IT Support department.

    • Experience, Qualifications, Skills

  • Matric minimum N5
  • Computer / IT, Electrical Engineering and or Networking qualifications e.g. : CompTIA A+, CompTIA N+ (or similar networking certification) / CCNA
  • Computer literate (MS Word / Excel)
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Organised
  • Detail-orientated perfectionist
  • Communication skills (ability to listen, interpersonal communication)
  • Good reporting skills
  • Ability to work independently

    • Advantageous

  • Hands-on working experience assembling / repairing PCs / customer service support cases
  • IT / Computer / electrical assembly / certifications
  • CISCO Certification
  • Experience working with computers
  • CompTIA S+ (Security)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word
  • Networking and / or IT Support experience / knowledge
  • Programming Skills
