Junior Technical Sales Representative

Overview

Matric or Technical Matric is essential. Artisan trade or similar will secure. Valid drivers license and own transport is ESSENTIAL (a company pool car is used for work purposes). Minimum of 1-2 years technical sales experience with a stable track record is required. Sales experience in the "engineering field or sheet metal shops" will secure. Willing to learn and embrace technology in the machine tool industry. We require the skills of a Junior Technical Sales Rep in Johannesburg who will be responsible for the sales of the full range of company equipment offered. This individual will become a specialist in this field and will build relationships & trust with customers in order to sell & support customers fully.

Responsibilities

• Manage a large existing client base and develop new business / follow up on leads.
• Learn & have knowledge of the full range of company equipment and be responsible for finding new business growing the customer base, as well as servicing existing clients on a continual basis.
• Sell & support customers fully by becoming a specialist in the field and building relationships & trust with customers.
