Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in payroll-related services.
  • Hands-on knowledge of payroll systems employee data handling and query resolution.

Scope of work

Required to work on Sage 300 Payroll and provide the following support services :

  • Accurate and timely processing of monthly payroll for all employees and independent contractors (classifiers) ensuring all payments deductions and adjustments are correctly captured.
  • Day-to-day payroll support including : Responding to payroll-related queries from employees and contractors
  • Maintaining and updating leave records and balances
  • Handling ad hoc payroll issues and adjustments as they arise
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant South African labour laws and tax regulations including those applicable to independent contractors.
  • Providing user support on the Sage 300 Employee Self-Service (ESS) platform assisting employees with access and functionality queries.
  • Preparing and submitting accurate monthly and quarterly payroll reports for review by the Human Capital and Finance departments.
  • Maintaining and managing payroll records for a base of fewer than 150 individuals which includes both permanent staff and independent contractors.
