Civil Engineer

Job descriptionDesign and review civil and structural aspects of solar PV systems (e.g., foundations, racking systems, drainage, access roads). Conduct site assessments, geotechnical analysis, and topographical evaluations. Prepare construction drawings, BOQs, and technical documentation. Ensure civil engineering designs meet regulatory, environmental, and safety standards. Support project managers during construction and commissioning phases. Liaise with subcontractors, local authorities, and clients to ensure timely and efficient project delivery. Perform quality inspections and site visits throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Masters preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in civil engineering for solar or energy infrastructure projects.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD.Pro or equivalent design software.
- Solid understanding of civil engineering codes and standards (e.g., ACI, Eurocode).
- Familiar with permitting processes and environmental compliance.
- Strong problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
