Join our R&D team as a Senior Automation Test Engineer and lead the charge in transforming our testing strategy through cutting-edge automation. Location : Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa.

Responsibilities

• Lead Automation Strategy : Own and drive the automation testing process across our flagship cloud-based platform.
• Build & Optimize Frameworks : Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks that ensure speed, reliability, and scalability.
• Mentor & Inspire : Guide a team of quality engineers, instilling best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate Across Teams : Work closely with developers, product owners, and analysts to ensure seamless integration of testing into the development lifecycle.
• Innovate with Purpose : Research and evaluate new tools and technologies, delivering proof-of-concepts that push the boundaries of automation.
• Experience : 7+ years in automation testing, with deep expertise in C# (preferred) or Java.
• Technical Mastery : Strong grasp of OOP, file handling, DB operations, and test scripting.
• Tool Proficiency : Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, NUnit, and CI / CD tools like Azure DevOps.
• Agile Mindset : Solid understanding of STLC and Agile methodologies.
• Version Control : Comfortable with Git, SVN, or CVS and working in Visual Studio.
• Certifications : ISTQB / ISEB certification required.
