WildWeb is looking for a mid-level Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team in Durban North. If you’re passionate about travel, tourism, and digital marketing, and ready to take ownership of exciting client accounts, we’d love to meet you!
As a Digital Marketing Specialist at WildWeb, you’ll work alongside our Digital Marketing Manager and play a key role in client success — managing a portfolio of accounts (primarily in the safari and tourism industry) and delivering measurable results. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you’ll balance strategy, execution, and reporting across multiple digital channels.
What We’re Looking For :
We’re after someone who is equal parts strategic thinker, problem solver, and hands-on executor. This is not an entry-level role and you’ll need to be confident in your skills, proactive in finding solutions, and comfortable managing multiple accounts while delivering exceptional work.
Key Requirements :
- Experience : 3–5 years in digital marketing (agency experience preferred).
- Analytical Mindset : Able to interpret data, identify trends, and present actionable insights.
- Project & Time Management : Proven ability to juggle multiple accounts and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication Skills : Clear, professional, and confident in both written and verbal client interactions.
- Attention to Detail : Meticulous when it comes to accuracy from reporting numbers to ad copy.
- Initiative & Accountability : A self-starter who takes ownership and drives projects to completion.
- Adaptability : Comfortable pivoting quickly when client needs or industry trends shift.

Experience working with tourism brands, safari lodges, or travel-related accounts.Skills in copywriting, design, or video editing.Familiarity with SEO, landing page optimisation, or CRM platforms.A genuine passion for travel, conservation, and Africa’s safari industry (it makes the work even more rewarding!).What You’ll Be Doing
Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with client goals and seasonal trends.Manage day-to-day activity across multiple platforms (Meta, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).Oversee community management, including responding to comments and messages.Track and analyse performance metrics, adjusting strategies to optimise results.Stay up to date with platform updates, trends, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.Paid Media Campaigns
Plan, set up, and manage campaigns on Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads.Conduct audience research, keyword planning, and A / B testing to maximise ROI.Monitor budgets, optimise campaigns, and ensure performance targets are met.Analytics & Reporting
Review account performance in GA4, Looker Studio, and platform dashboards.Create insightful reports that explain the “why” behind the numbers.Provide proactive, data-driven recommendations to improve results.Client & Project Management
Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for client accounts.Coordinate with internal designers, developers, and other team members.Maintain a clear overview of priorities, deadlines, and KPIs.Creativity & Innovation (Nice-to-Have)
