Essential Job Functions :
Revenue Generation : The paramount duty of this role is to drive revenue and consistently meet predefined sales targets.
Sales Lifecycle Management : Oversee the complete sales lifecycle from initial prospecting to the closure of contracts.
Demonstration and Sales ‘Pitches’ : Lead product demonstration and sales meetings with prospective customers - both in person and virtually.
Customer-Centric Understanding : Gain an intimate comprehension of customer needs, challenges and business objectives with the aim of illustrating the manner in which our products align with same.
Opportunity Identification : Discern opportunities for up- and cross-selling among our existing client base and with engagements with prospective customers.
Negotiation : Lead customer negotiations involving contracts, pricing and terms with the aim of strategically maximising profitability without compromising customer satisfaction.
Industry Expertise : Stay current with industry and market trends, assimilating best practices while maintaining a high level of product knowledge.
Management Reporting : Compile comprehensive reports on sales progress, customer pipelines, areas for improvement, etc. for management purposes.
