Senior Technical Test Analyst (DMARC) - Momentum

Role purpose

Ensure the quality of all business and technology solutions is functionally and non-functionally tested to meet the requirements and achieve sustainable quality.

Requirements

Qualification, Experience and Knowledge :

  • Degree in BSC / IT preferred.
  • Diploma in Information Technology
  • Qualifications preferred : Testing qualification ISTQB / ISEB.
  • Min of 7 years’ experience in testing with min 4 years in test automation.
  • At least 2 years of investment / financial services experience
  • Exposure to diverse IT projects using a variety of testing tools and techniques.
  • Must have SQL knowledge.
  • Must have experience in an agile work environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • End-to-end manual and automated testing for the business solutions.
  • Test across functionality, performance, reliability, stability, compatibility, and integration with legacy or external systems.
  • Assist with the testing gap analysis between requirements and existing environments for all digital / data / application solutions.
  • Ensure user stories have clear definitions and acceptance criteria aligned with team members for backlog refinement.
  • Define quality standards upfront in PI and sprint meetings and ensure they are achieved.
  • Document test plans before projects and keep them up to date.
  • Document, maintain and monitor test scenarios, acceptance criteria and final results.
  • Continuously build test automation artifacts.
  • Execute and maintain manual and automated regression tests.
  • Demonstrate deliverables to key stakeholders.
  • Test big data and ensure outputs are transposed correctly.
  • Report on QA ways of work and optimize practices with Momentum Investments IT Quality COP.
  • Contribute to the team’s predictability by maintaining view of holistic test coverage.
  • Minimise defects by ensuring upfront code quality.
  • Drive collective ownership for testing.
  • Ensure / report and champion the agreed quality standard and practice outlined within MIIT COP.
