PG Glass is the leading supplier of auto glass and building glass replacement services in Southern Africa. Over 110 fitment centres are available to replace or repair auto glass, offering PG Glass Medic chip repair, windscreen wipers, TempSecure windows and glass replacement in homes and buildings. A 24‑hour contact centre serves customers and processes insurance claims.

Overview

PG Glass supplies genuine Shatterprufe, Safevue, OE glass, Armourplate, LLumar, and PG SmartGlass products. The company operates a nationwide network of fitment centres and a customer service hub.

Main Purpose

Drive operational excellence through the documentation, analysis and continuous improvement of business processes across the PG Glass Network. Assess and analyse business requirements, make evidence‑based recommendations that support improvements, and act as an intermediary between stakeholders and the company to ensure that requirements are aligned to system capability.

Main Objective

• Drive operational excellence by documenting, analysing and continuously improving business processes across PG Glass to ensure efficiency, data‑driven decisions, and alignment with strategic business objectives and customer requirements.
• Lead the documentation and mapping of current‑state and future‑state business processes, procedures, and workflows using recognised methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, and BPMN. Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure version control, ownership and accessibility in a centralised repository.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of business processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, risks, and control gaps. Propose, design, and implement optimised processes, leveraging best practices and process improvement frameworks, and measure the impact of improvements using KPIs and ROI analysis.
• Collect, clean, and analyse process performance data using advanced analytical tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and CRM Dynamics dashboards. Generate and present routine and ad‑hoc reports to management and stakeholders, providing actionable insights and recommendations, and use data analytics to identify trends, root causes and opportunities for further optimisation.
• Assess business requirements, existing workflows and current business processes. Suggest improvements to enhance productivity, efficiency and intended impact with the use and optimisation of PG Connect and associated systems.
• Identify and eliminate wastefulness in processes and ensure systems make the best‑integrated use of workers, tools, technology, materials, information and energy to deliver strategy.
• Interpret complex data and business metrics, identify problematic areas, and put forward suggestions for improvements in relation to processes.
• Investigate cause, effect and impact through study / research to enable the suggestion of efficiency improvements across macro and micro process flows.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create new process designs so that PG Glass can become a world‑class company delivering on strategic objectives.
