Job description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain :

Web applications (including responsive mobile web apps)

  • Front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, OpenLayers, and other JavaScript APIs
  • MySQL databases and perform DB administration tasks
  • After-hours support for critical systems (as required by management)
  • Development of stand-alone C++ / C# / scripting applications
  • Testing of all newly developed features and software modules
  • Documentation of all software enhancements and new development processes
  • Conduct technical research to inform and support ongoing development
  • Perform administrative tasks related to the development process, as assigned
  • Deliver presentations of software features or updates when required
  • Commit to continuous learning and professional development in relevant technologies

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Matric certificate with a BSc in Computer Science or equivalent qualification
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable personal transport
  • A positive attitude and a genuine passion for software development
  • At least 10 years of experience in web-based software development, including :

    • ASP.NET (IIS)

  • JavaScript / TypeScript
  • MySQL and database administration
