Purpose / Details of the Job
- Planning and managing a mutually beneficial partnership between Nissan and its most important customers.
- Key Account Managers (KAM’s) will be responsible to grow, maintain & develop new Corporate & Direct Fleet business within South Africa and its neighboring countries.
Educational Qualifications
Diploma / Degree in Sales & Marketing or related field
Relevant Experience
5+ years’ Key Account sales experienceUnderstanding of retail motor industryPlanning & Business strategiesClient & market need analysisMS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Retail / Fleet / Corporate Sales experienceKey Performance Areas
Create and build professional relationships with customersDeveloping trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure they do not turn to competitionAcquiring a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirementsExpanding relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectivesMaintain contact with customers to ensure high levels of customer satisfactionResolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trustSector data analysis to develop and implement strategies on how to expand the customer basePreparation of proposals and presentationsMonthly forecastingCoordinate cross-functional teams (internal & external) to ensure successful project implementation, e.g. Navara Mine spec conversion development & AGRI SA Navara ambassador programInteract with all levels of management within NSA and with SuppliersValidating fleet orders and request placement therefore to SOSTracking orders vs productionArranging and coordinating events (Vehicle Launches / Ride & Drives / Plant Tours / Golf Days / Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner events)Compilation and submission of tenders according to tender requirementsWeekly sales activity reports (Salesforce)Database management (Salesforce)Provide support to the Dealer Network on price requests and customer visitsKey Competencies
