Job descriptionMinimum 3 years’ bookkeeping experience (senior experience welcomed) Solid knowledge of both euro and sterling accounting Proficiency with cloud-based accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks) and Excel Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and integrity A self-starter who can work independently, escalating for approvals when needed Experience in a regulated industry (insurance / financial services) is an advantage Bonus : Familiarity with Sage and UK’s 12% Insurance Premium Tax (IPT) Flexibility : Remote work with adaptable scheduling Balance : 20 hours per week lets you maintain other commitments Impact : Your accuracy and insight will directly influence financial health and future opportunities Culture : Collaborative, friendly environment with regular check-ins Growth : Ongoing professional development and training support Salary : R 15 000 to R 22 000, aligned with experience Hours : 20 per week (part-time) Fully Remote Training & professional development included

Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for two sister companies (Ireland & UK)
- Process invoices, perform bank reconciliations, and track expenses
- Prepare monthly management accounts and reports, ensuring clear visibility of cashflow and liabilities
- Set up and schedule payments (subject to MD authorisation)
- Maintain thorough, audit-ready financial records in line with regulatory requirements
- Handle euro / sterling accounting
