Service Technician

Our client, a world leader in the design and manufacturing of high-speed equipment for the packaging and bottling industry , is seeking a Service Technician to join their dynamic team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and servicing of advanced packaging and bottling machinery, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime for clients.

This role involves extensive travel , both nationally and internationally , to support customers across various locations.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Performing the day-to-day maintenance activities to ensure that Krones machinery performs efficiently
• Conduct equipment audits and overhauls
• Maintain safe working environment
• Coach customers on operational and maintenance activities
• Ability to communicate and interact with the client, technicians, subsidiaries
• Ability to fault find in a logical and professional manner
• Ability to install and commission new machines / retrofits with instruction
• Attend to breakdowns telephonically and physically
• Willingness to work overtime and night work
• Travelling to customers nationally and internationally
• Conduct performance acceptance test at the customers
• Provide intervention reports
• Installation and commissioning of single and complete packaging lines
