Group Account Director – Digital Marketing Agency (Performance : Paid Media & CRM)

Role Summary

We’re hiring early 2026 for a senior client-facing leader to own a delivery pod on our digital side.

You’ll be responsible for making sure the clients we close actually get what was sold to them, on time, to scope, and hitting performance KPIs. You won’t be chasing tasks (we have an Operations Manager for that). Your job is to lead the client relationship, set the strategy, guide the account managers, and make the right calls on paid advertising, CRM, automation and data so service-based businesses see real acquisition results.

Our pod model will grow to up to 40 projects across our three service tiers (LaunchReady, Core, Pro). You will be the senior person that gives clients confidence and the team direction.

We’re a Dubai-based digital marketing agency focused on customer acquisition for service-based businesses , clinics, renovation, home services, education, fitness, hospitality. Our core stack : paid advertising (Meta + Google), CRM and integrations (GoHighLevel / similar), automations, sales-process support, and performance / data reporting. We sell on outcomes, so we need someone who can speak performance, not just “marketing.”

What You'll Own

Pod leadership & client outcomes

  • Lead a delivery pod of up to 40 active projects across LaunchReady, Core and Pro.
  • Make sure every account has a live plan, targets and a reporting rhythm.
  • Protect scope and standards; elevate when clients want something that harms performance.
  • Join monthly calls for primary / high-value clients.
  • Host quarterly strategic reviews to show progress, pipeline math, and next 90-day plan.
  • Educate clients on budgets, CAC, lead quality, tracking and realistic timelines.

Performance oversight

  • Review and approve key campaign moves across Meta and Google (new offers, new geos, new landing pages).
  • Make sure CRM, automations and attribution are actually turned on and maintained.
  • Keep projects inside KPIs : cost per lead / cost per show / booked / won, and take action when they drift.
  • Team enablement

  • Manage and mentor Account Managers in the pod, help them say “no” well, and raise the right issues.
  • Work closely with the Operations Manager (who runs tasking and timelines) to make sure delivery follows the standardised 14-day launch process.
  • Bring strategic and tactical ideas into the pod for specific industries (clinics vs education vs renovation).
  • Lead conversations when a client is unhappy : listen, diagnose, set a fix, and communicate the new plan.
  • Reset expectations when clients request things that are wrong for performance.
  • Keep leadership informed on risks, churn threats and upsell opportunities.
  • Requirements

  • 7+ years in a digital agency / performance / client services role.
  • Hands‑on understanding of Meta + Google ads for lead generation (not just ecom).
  • Worked with service‑based industries (ideal : clinics, education, home / reno, fitness).
  • Experience working with CRMs and automations (GoHighLevel, HubSpot or similar), enough to know what must be tracked.
  • You’ve managed Account Managers or a small client team before.
  • You’re comfortable talking CAC, CPL, cost per show, pipeline, attribution with clients.
  • Strong spoken and written English; confident on Zoom with founders and marketing managers.
  • You can work fully remote and overlap with Gulf / Dubai hours.
  • This role is not

  • It’s not a project coordinator role — we already have Ops.
  • It’s not a pure media buyer role — you need to guide, not just “run ads.”
  • It’s not a junior AM role — you’ll be the senior person on calls.
  • What success looks like (first 6‑12 months)

  • Onboarding to go‑live stays inside our 14‑day standard for your pod.
  • Client comms are calm : daily noise drops, monthly and quarterly calls are strategic.
  • KPIs are monitored and acted on — campaigns, CRM and automations stay aligned.
  • AMs in your pod get visibly better at blocking bad requests and escalating the right ones.
  • Churn drops, and upgrades from LaunchReady → Core → Pro start to happen on schedule.
