Job Description : An exciting vacancy exists at King Phalo Airport for an experienced Supervisor Aviation Security within the Enterprise Security and Compliance Division.

Key Performance Outputs

Responsibilities : The successful candidate will report to the Assistant Manager Airport Security Operations and will be responsible for the following :

• Provide a safe and secure environment and supervise security personnel at central search points and other relevant areas.
• Develop Human Capital in line with policies and procedures, including the Work Skills Plan.
• Manage the performance of staff, including outsourced staff, and introduce remedial processes where necessary.
• Perform quarterly PMS assessments.
• Ensure security thoroughness and responsiveness.
• Responsible for shift management and communication.
• Attend Operations meetings and provide feedback as required.
• Ensure SOP compliance, regulatory registers, and incident investigation follow-up.
• Investigate, report, and correct security breaches and non-conformances.
• Conduct inspections, identify operational risks, and ensure remedial action.
• Detect, prevent and deter security incidents; report incidents immediately.
• Feedback on operational issues; compile monthly statistics.
• Stakeholder engagement and compliance with security policies during movement through dedicated checkpoints.
• Operate according to ICAO, NKP, SACAA, and other relevant legislation and ACSA policies.
• Ensure equipment is in working condition and maintain stakeholder relations with professionalism.
• Assist with customer and stakeholder complaints and escalated matters; respond to emergencies as prescribed.
