Introduction

A leading company within the Credit & Insurance sector is looking for an experienced Accountant to join their dynamic team.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Qualification Requirement:

• CA(SA) – Yes
• SAIPA articles – Yes
• AGA registered – Yes
• CIMA - Add

Experience Requirement:

• 3-5 years in accounting
• 1-2 Years in IFRS & Insurance - Yes

Job Specific Non-negotiables:

• Strong technical expertise with actuarial models, finance data systems, and insurance contract valuation.
• Comprehensive knowledge of IFRS measurement models (GMM, PAA, VFA) and their practical application.
• Advanced financial modelling and Microsoft Excel proficiency, with the ability to manage and analyse large volumes of confidential data accurately.
• Hands-on experience with accounting systems and general ledger configuration (e.g., Sage Evolution).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex financial standards into clear insights and deliver under pressure.

ERP System Requirement:

• Microsoft Excel – ADVANCE EXCEL

Package & Remuneration

R 400 000 – R 500 000 CTC pa.
