Job Summary
- This role involves providing administrative and logistics support to the Grain division through coordinating grain transport, managing deliveries and stock movements, preparing logistics documentation, and maintaining accurate records to ensure efficient, timely, and compliant grain operations.
Responsibilities and Duties
Coordinate transport and delivery of grain from farms, silos, and processing facilitiesSchedule trucks and manage shipments to ensure timely deliveryCommunicate with suppliers, carriers, and clients to organise logisticsPrepare, verify, and control shipping documents, permits, and waybillsCapture and update transport orders and logistics-related transactionsTrack inventory levels and coordinate stock movementsAssist with stock balancing and reconciliationsIdentify and resolve issues related to delays, transport, or documentationRegister and liaise with new carriers, suppliers, and clientsFiling and control of logistics and grain-related documentationAssist with general administrative duties within the Grain divisionQualifications and Skills
Matric / Grade 12 (Mathematics and Accounting will be an advantage)Computer literate (experience on the Agris system will be an advantage)Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)Strong planning, coordination, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailClosing Date 06 March 2026
