POSITION INFO :

A well-established professional services firm, focused on delivering high-quality financial and tax services to their clients, is looking for a Senior Accountant to join them. Ideal candidates will have completed either SAIPA or SAICA articles and managed a team within a similar accounting firm environment. Lovely opportunity to be located on the South Coast of South Africa!.

What you will be doing :

Prepare annual financial statements for various entities (companies, CCs, sole proprietors, partnerships, trusts)

Ensure accuracy and timely completion of financials for audit purposes

Compile and update audit packs and liaise with auditors

Stay updated on IFRS for SMEs and apply changes to reporting

Process and validate financial transactions, including year-end adjustments

Resolve general ledger reconciliation queries with stakeholders

Manage and train a small team and oversee a client portfolio

Prepare and review advanced tax computations and returns

Support client audits, reviews, and special projects

Act as the main liaison for assigned clients

Plan and manage workload to meet deadlines

Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders

What we are looking for :

Completed SAICA traineeship AGA(SA) eligible or SAIPA qualified

Minimum 5 years' experience preparing financial statements

Strong knowledge of IFRS and IFRS for SMEs

Proficient in MS Office, Caseware, and CaseView

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work independently

Valid driver's license and own vehicle
