Outreach Coordinator

Overview

We are hiring an Outreach Coordinator for an independent artist in the Visual Arts / Film industry. This is a Part-Time remote role for a United States–based company. Your goal is to get the artist submitted into film festivals. This role involves outreach, contact database management, drafting emails, and performing LinkedIn outbound messages as well as phone outreach.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and shortlist film festivals that showcase experimental / short video art; track deadlines, eligibility, fees, and requirements.
• Prepare and submit festival applications (e.g., via FilmFreeway / Festhome) and manage assets, metadata, and status updates.
• Build and maintain a database of film / video curators, museums, and institutions in the US and Europe; find accurate contact information.
• Draft, personalize, and send outreach emails and LinkedIn messages; manage a structured follow-up cadence and log outcomes.
• Coordinate light phone outreach as needed; schedule and confirm meetings.
• Maintain organized records / CRM or spreadsheets; report weekly progress and insights during brief check-ins.
• Iterate messaging and targeting based on results; suggest new prospects (e.g., interior designers and art consultants) for potential commissions.
