Allied Gold is a Canadian-based gold producer with a significant growth profile and mineral endowment. The company operates a portfolio of three producing assets and other development projects located in Côte d'Ivoire, Mali and Ethiopia. Allied Gold aspires to become a mid‑tier next‑generation gold producer in Africa and ultimately a senior global gold producer.
This position will be responsible for managing the supply chain process through correctly implementing Material Master (MM) data in line with Master Data Organization (MDO) standards. The role will also manage vendor material coding requests, extend materials to requested plants, update MM data, ensure alignment of MM data across the organization, and lead the rollout and implementation of new ERP systems.
Job Responsibilities
- Implement new material master data inline with business requirements linked to ERP and international coding standards.
- Process supply master data requests based on completed and validated procurement master data forms for Vendor Master Data.
- Validate vendor master data by reference to supplier information prior to completing a request for a VMD service record.
- Ensure all supply master data requests comply with VMD cataloguing conditions.
- Conduct regular reviews and systematic testing to ensure data integrity, including reviewing users who performed VMD changes and identifying inactive master data records.
- Align MM data with MDO standards.
- Engage with the maintenance team on a regular basis regarding MM data.
- Track all MM applications and provide coaching and training to the maintenance team on MM applications.
- Ensure the accuracy of the MM data, including cleansing obsolete materials and making necessary changes as required by the business.
- Assess final applications for compliance with standards.
- Actively participate in supply improvement projects as directed by the supply chain.
- Implement new Source to Contract ERP processes.
Job Requirements
A degree or advanced certificate in supply chain management or a related discipline.Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in a commercial / supply environment, of which at least five (5) years in a mining and metals environment.Proven track record in coding and understanding material master and service master data.Experience implementing ERPs within supply chain functions.Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders such as suppliers.Ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and work effectively with minimal supervision.Fluent in English; proficiency in French is an asset.Willingness to travel occasionally to Allied Gold's operations and offices in Africa.Seniority level
