Mechanical Design Engineer

Overview

The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for the review, verification, and approval of mechanical designs for utility-scale Solar PV projects at each site. The role ensures structural reliability, tracker and torque tube integrity, and that all mechanical drawings are approved to Issued for Construction (IFC) standards. One engineer will be assigned per site .

Key Responsibilities

Mechanical Design Review & Approval

• Review structural, tracker, and torque tube designs to ensure compliance with project specifications and engineering standards.
• Approve mechanical drawings to IFC stage.
• Ensure designs are robust, manufacturable, and safe for construction and long-term operation.

Structural Reliability & Fatigue Assessment
