Job Purpose
- The role of Sales Steering & data analytics specialist will include sales reporting, identifying sales trends, preparing proposals, creating and delivering presentations, identifying opportunities to create efficiencies through automation. The role will also be required to collaborate & steer the Retailer / Dealer Incentive programmes for BMW Group Financial Services Retailers / Dealers. Analyse data and generate useful business reports / dashboards using tactical methods to providing insights into the business.
- The role is a Functional Level V.
Key Responsibilities
Contributing to overall Sales Funnel analysis and steering and Communication Strategy.Continuously monitoring business performance and providing insights and recommendations to maximize conversion to sales.Development of new data sources and data processing for analysis and intelligence purposes.Work closely with IT département for development of the analytics infrastructureDrive automation / efficiencies / process optimization across all processesScreen markets and demand trends globally to extract new product or business requirements and develop the local rollout strategyCalculate Retailer commissions and incentives & ensure that payment process is executed timeously and accuratelyDrive overall management of the Retailer Incentive Programmes, Retailer enquiries and liaison for Incentive programme agency / supplier to ensure points allocation and payment including registration and systemsManage sign off process of Engage pointsDevelopment & execution of process to oversee user registration system including systems security with supplierParticipate as Internal Control System (ICS) champion to drive ICS risk processes in Sales & Marketing including process maps & procedure manuals which need to be reviewed annually.Extract and analyse data for trends and opportunities for BMW Group Financial ServicesProvide reports & dashboards to support Regional Manager at Retailer / Dealer levelBuild and maintain business intelligent dashboard & reports for use throughout the organizationProvide reports, data and insights to internal stakeholders for Retailer / Dealer incentive programmes, loyalty programmes and commissionsImplement new reporting processes to support new or developing sales areasDevelop and implement automated reporting tools to support sales and processesIdentify and support automation for efficiencies or process optimization affecting your area of responsibilityProcess manual payments like Dealer Incentive Commissions (DIC) & Quarterly Loyalty BonusOversee development, implementation and integration of new users on registration systemMaintain and ensure that User Registration systems are running effectivelyLoad and maintain Retailers / Dealers / F&I managers / Sales Manager / Sales ExecutivesSales steering includes maximising opportunities identified in both Pricing and ProductEnsure maximum Sales Steering through optimization of the Pricing and Product functionsMake recommendation and highlight key business issues, proactively moving from administrative to creativeAnalyse the different business line reports to identify problem areas and facilitate problem solvingHousing and managing all key data necessary for driving business intelligence for the organizationAs Product Owner, steer & prioritise the list of requirements for IT development including future product development i.e. Business link between IT development and V division requestsEducational Background / Professional Knowledge and Experience
Post Graduate degree will be an advantageMinimum 3 years Business Intelligence experience in a corporate environment.4 -6 years professional experience as a Data Analyst / ScientistSkilled in PowerBi / TableauProven experience in analytical modelling and the application of scoring methods and tools.Proven experience in handling large amounts of data (transaction data, customer data, etc.).Minimum 3 years Business Intelligence experience in a corporate environment.Experience in building dashboards in PowerBI or Tableau using SQL data sources, amongst others such as SAP, SAP BW.A detailed understanding of the retail finance industry and / or motor industrySound Knowledge of Financial Services business linesAbove-average analytical skills and structured proceedingAbility to deliver exquisite results in a fast-paced environment.High ability to convince and to bring arguments forwardAssertiveness and ability to present your work on management level and to multiple audiences at different levels.Report writing and communication skills.Well-developed mathematical, analytical and research skills.Advanced MS Excel skills & PowerPoint, sound understanding of MS WordExcellent communication and presentation skillsSpecialist : Sales Steering
