Please include a cover letter with your application demonstrating compliance with the below requirements : Minimum Requirements : MBChB; with active HPCSA registration as an Independent PractitionerFace to face GCP training with an accredited provider (like Crede)Must be within 3 years of completion of community serviceValid BLS CertificateComputer skills (Email, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Excellent Communication (verbal and written) skillsStrong administrative skillsExcellent ability to build interpersonal relationshipsStrong client focusAbility to work in a team and independentlyStrong work ethicDetail oriented and capable of completing study documentation legibly and accuratelyWilling to work with COVID patientsWilling to work flexible hours and weekends if requiredAdvantageous : Valid Code 08 Drivers LicenseValid ACLS certificateResponsibilities : Clinical Procedures : Clinically assess, examine, diagnose and manage the health of participants and YC clientsCheck and follow up blood resultsComplete prescriptions of pharmaceuticals appropriately.Monitor clinical examinations and procedures undertaken by study nurses when necessaryManage accountability and adherence monitoring of study drugsRefer participants to other clinical care as required.Consult with other clinical and research staff when necessaryProtocol Specific Procedure : Manage participants with Adverse Events or Expedited Adverse Events and report as per protocol requirementsInterpret and act on laboratory resultsPerform other protocol specific procedures when necessary (endoscopy, counselling, swabs, biopsies, etc.)Study Administration : Document all procedures and investigations as per study requirementsTranscribe and ensure quality control of study documentationAttend clinical and research management meetingsAssist in preparing study documentation for audits, monitoring visits and site visits from external study monitors.Assist with the design and enactment of standard operating procedures for clinical management and research projectsValues fit : Passion Innovation Progress Integrity Respect ExcellenceSubmit CV, motivation letter with certified copy of highest qualification and details of three (3) current contactable referees in a single PDF file by 16 August 2023.
